The British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (BINDT) welcomed its current six Arkwright Engineering Scholars and their parents to its Northampton HQ to this month, to provide an introduction to the world of non-destructive testing.

The half-day event was introduced by Cindy Bailey, BINDT's Manager of Membership & Registration. The Scholars then heard all about the different NDT techniques and their uses in industry from Dr Colin Brett, Technical Head at Uniper Technologies Ltd and a BINDT Vice President.
