Royal Air Force 'wows' Arkwright Scholars

The RAF Youth Engagement Team put a group of 30 Arkwright Scholars through their paces at a three-day residential visit to RAF College Cranwell and RAF Coningsby during February half-term.

Arkwright success at CIBSE Building Performance Awards 2017

The Arkwright Scholarships Trust was showcased to the Building Services world at the CIBSE Building Performance Awards on 7th February when not only did Arkwright CEO Dr Martin Thomas present the Award to the winner of the "Building Performance Training Programme" category, but also two alumni won awards as part of industry teams. 

Arkwright Provides Evidence to Commons Science & Technology Committee

The House of Commons Science & Technology Committee is currently conducting an enquiry into ways to close the STEM skills gap . The Arkwright Scholarships Trust has responded with evidence from its 25 years of experience working with schools and a diversity of funders to close the skills gap in relation to future leaders of the engineering profession.  

Scholar Presents National Award

Arkwright Scholars often received awards for their work and future potential, but recently one of Arkwright's newest Scholars, and her classmate, were invited to PRESENT an award at the national 'Women in IT Awards' 2017.

In November, Scholar Eneh Alexander-Ikwue received the EMSTA Innovation Award for highly-promising STEM students, at a Ceremony at the University of Hertfordshire.
