Scholars given rare Chinook Flight by RAF

Twenty-two Scholars attended the exclusive RAF Arkwright three-day residential Leadership Course in July. As well as physical team and leadership challenges the Scholars were treated to a rare flight in a Chinook helicopter from RAF Odiham.

Arkwright Scholar Max Raven will be swapping Colchester for Cambridge, Massachusetts in the autumn when he begins a degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Scholars Take Part in Global Deutsche Bank Hackathon

Eight Arkwright Scholars joined teams of Deutsche Bank technical staff in London to compete against Deutsche Bank IT employees across the world in a 24-hour global staff hackathon to develop a new app for use by Deutsche Bank to consolidate its internal training systems.

Arkwright Liaison Officer Honoured with Freedom of the City of London

The Arkwright Schools' Liaison Officer for North West London and Hertfordshire, Mr John Coleman, was recently made a Freeman of the Merchant Taylors' Company and bestowed with the honour of becoming a Freeman of the City of London.
