The Team

The Arkwright Scholarships Trust's activities are overseen by a Board of Trustees who meet four times a year. The Chairman of Trustees is Mr Sean O'Malley. The Chief Executive, Linda Scott, is responsible for the day to day management and raising funds for the Trust. Linda is supported by Jayne Beddows her PA and Administration Manager. In January 2009 Georgina Hare joined the team as Charity Relations Manger and later Karen Down as Administration Assistant.

Liaison officers

The team of Liaison Officers are made up of retired Headteachers, Heads of D&T or Engineers mentor the Scholars and interface with new and existing Schools. The team is actively involved with the selection of candidates and provides the National Manager with feedback about the member schools and Scholars after every visit made.

Member Schools can direct any questions about the Scheme and or the application process to either the office or their Regional Liaison Officer.
