Corporate Partners

There are many ways that your organisation can help support us, from sponsoring a scholar, to your employees donating their time to support their own personal development in your organisation

For more information on any of the following ways to support please contact our Corporate Partnerships Manager Steve Kay.

Sponsor a Scholar

By directly sponsoring a scholarship you will be providing Scholars with work experience, mentoring, engagement and taking advantage of a host of Sponsor benefits including; Direct access to your Scholar and indirect access to nearly 800 current Arkwright Scholars and over 3400 Arkwright Alumni aged 19 to 41; hosting industry Connect Days for Scholars; advertising work experience and job vacancies to our Scholars and alumni; an invitation to our prestigious Awards Ceremonies.

Event Fundraising

Will you be participating in a charity event this year? There are many great ways you can support us by fundraising for our work, whilst having fun and making a difference to the Arkwright Engineering Scholarships.

“The Ride London-Surrey 100 mile cycle challenge was an incredibly rewarding way to raise funds for Arkwright – who provide so many opportunities for my most promising students."

Become an Arkwright Mentor

Arkwright Mentors provide an invaluable source of first-hand knowledge, experience and inspiration to our Scholars throughout their two-year Scholarship. By volunteering just a few hours of your time a month, you can make a real difference to the Scholar’s understanding of commercial life, university study and the excitement of a career in engineering. It can also be very rewarding and helps to enhance your personal and professional development as you work towards Chartered status. Your knowledge, experience and skills would be highly valued and most welcome. Most mentoring is done remotely by email and telephone calls.

Volunteer as an Arkwright Interviewer

Student Applicants who pass the Aptitude Exam undergo a twenty-minute online panel interview. The interview panels are selected from Education and Corporate professionals to interview Applicants and give the final recommendations for Scholarships. As well as great experience for you, this is also an opportunity to see just how talented an Arkwright Engineering Scholar can be.

“I thoroughly enjoyed the interview day. It was very rewarding to meet so many talented students with engineering aspirations. It also helped to develop my confidence and understanding from the ‘interviewer seat’ - extremely beneficial.”
