Schools - Students' Application Process
Applications The application forms are released to Affiliated Schools' Design & Technology Departments (Technological Studies in Scotland) in September for Year 11 and S4 students to apply.
Online Registration Students are encouraged to register their application online from September 2011. After online registration has been completed all candidates must submit their fully completed application forms by the closing date.
Closing Date All applications must be received at the Arkwright Scholarships Trust by Friday 20 January 2012.
Aptitude Paper All candidates submitting an application will sit the Arkwright Aptitude Paper at their school on Wednesday 1 February 2012. A copy of the 2011 Aptitude Paper, markers' comments and exemplar material is now available to view. All candidates will be advised of the outcome of their Aptitude Paper by Friday 9 March 2012. Successful candidates will then be invited to the interview stage.
Interviews Short-listed candidates are interviewed during March and April at a university that is renowned for engineering. Dates for the current round of applications are as follows:

Notification All interviewees are notified of the outcome of their interview in July.
