On Saturday 25th November, 12 Arkwright Scholars attended a Light Microscopy in Engineering event, hosted by the Quekett Microscopical Club.  This was the fourth such annual workshop, held as before in the Angela Marmont Centre at the Natural History Museum in London.

Scholars had the chance to  work with a range of microscopes to discover the basis of light microscopy and how it can be used in the field of Engineering with aerospace and marine composite samples provided by Cytec Solvay Group.
