Alumna Sarah Griffiths (Arkwright Scholar 2007-2009, sponsored by Alcatel-Lucent - now part of Nokia) has recently been recognised as a future leader in the nuclear industry. She was a finalist in the Women in Engineering category of the national 'Training & Development Awards' run by the Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB), held in Manchester on 19th October. Although she is only a few years into her career, Sarah was commended alongside women with decades more experience. Sarah has a very bright future ahead of her in the nuclear industry.
