Leaving a gift to the Arkwright Scholarships Trust in your Will
Most charities survive and prosper due to the foresight of committed donors.
A gift which might make a real difference is not always possible during a lifetime because of current obligations and commitments. However, including a legacy in your Will may offer the opportunity to make a difference and bring distinct advantages to you and the charity.
There are many reasons why you may wish to leave a legacy to Arkwright:
- If you are an engineer yourself, you may wish to show gratitude or loyalty by helping to support future engineers.
- A wish to help encourage more youngsters to stay on at school and gain the relevant qualifications to go to University.
- To encourage an interest in a particular sector of engineering.
- To endow a scholarship to support a young engineer in perpetuity.
- To do more than might be possible during your lifetime.
A legacy to the Arkwright Scholarships Trust can either be included when making your Will, or added by codicil to an existing Will.
It is always advisable to seek professional advice when you write your Will in order that your wishes are clear.
If you have already included Arkwright in your Will, or intend to do so, please let us know. This will enable us to say "thank you" during your lifetime and also to keep you informed of developments at Arkwright.
